Ultimate Travel Secrets

On a recent trip, we finally visited Gordon Ramsay Burger Las Vegas!  So, here’s the story…

Every time we came to Las Vegas, we would head to Planet Hollywood and I had a vision of a gorgeous burger from Gordon Ramsay Burger in my head.  And then every time we got there, there was a really long line.  So it just hadn’t worked out to eat here in the past.  But I knew the day would come one day.

Incessant line at Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood:/

How to skip the line

I suppose lines with lots of people are a good sign of great food but despite being a self proclaimed foodie (yum!) this girl doesn’t generally don’t wait in lines for food (especially not for a burger place even if it is Gordon Ramsay Burger!)  In other words, I had to find a way to not stand in line but still eat here.

Designated tables for Diamond members at Gordon Ramsay Burger!

I conquered the challenge this time around! I wrote a little bit about this restaurant in my previous post about Caesars Diamond Status Benefits- what they are and how to use them.  Having Diamond Status is exactly how I was able to bypass that long line and finally get to enjoy that gorgeous burger that had been in my head for so long:)  Want to learn more about how you can get Caesars Diamond Status too? Read all about it here!

Certain restaurants within the network of Caesars owned hotels hold tables for Total Rewards (Caesars Reward Program) Diamond Status members.

So when you visit the hostess stand, they can generally (well it worked for us twice!) seat you immediately.  We were given what were, in my opinion, the best seats in the house.  We were at the food counter smack dab in the middle of everything! Talk about front and center to the action!!

Appetizers

So here’s a factoid about me: I don’t like onions.  Like Seriously. I avoid anything with onions in them.  My hubby saw these onion rings on the line (oh great, what monster did I create!) and just had to order them.

I guess it’s time to admit now that I’m glad he ordered them because they were positively delicious!  I don’t know what they did to those onions but I would eat them any day of the week. And oh the sauces!!

So obviously those are on my list of must orders:)

Kettle Chip Nachos

The Kettle Chip Nachos were just ok.  The meat looked tasty but there was just something off about this appetizer.  It was the only thing we had that I wouldn’t order again. Go with the onion rings or try the superb looking duck poppers (shown in photo on what looks like a half ferris wheel below!)

And I would definitely recommend sitting at the food counter…we really enjoyed sitting there- it was like watching a little mini Vegas show!

Main Course

We considered the Hell’s Kitchen Burger but since we were splitting it (yes, because I knew I had to have dessert!) we decided on the Ultimate Cheeseburger (aged provolone, boursin & dubliner cheeses) cooked medium and added bacon.  It definitely needed the bacon for added salt and to break up the overload of cheeses.  It was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy.  I also added a side of truffle aioli…why not? You definitely need to be a cheese lover for this one.  I am most definitely a cheese lover so I thought it was yummo.  We will definitely try the Hell’s Kitchen Burger next time!

Dessert anyone?

Rarely do I ever order desserts however I most definitely planned ahead on this one!  It was down to a final decision of the Oreo Creme Brulee Shake or the Sticky Toffee Pudding.  It was probably the hardest decision we made on this trip haha.  But then our server came to the rescue and informed us that we could order a Creme Brulee shake to go any time from the bar.  So, ya know we went with the Sticky Toffee Pudding!!

Sticky Toffee Pudding!

It was pretty fantastic I must say.  Next time I will order it with extra drizzle because it was the bomb!

Just Get It. Don’t Ask Why…

We chose to get the Oreo Creme Brulee shake to go on a separate visit.  It was delicious, as well.  You definitely won’t be disappointed!

But, if I had to choose between the 2 desserts, my vote definitely lies with the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

I will definitely return here to try some more things on the menu.  To sum it up, our meal was fabulous!

And yes, I’m ending this post with a picture of us with our Sticky Toffee Pudding because that’s how I roll!

Perfect ending to our meal!

Tell me which dessert you would choose below!

Have you been here to eat? If so, what was your favorite thing on the menu?
